The Coastal Anclote Trail
FDC is proud to announce the opening of the Coastal Anclote Trail in Pasco County!
FDC provided Surveying and Mapping, Landscape Architecture, Environmental, and Planning services for this 4.6-mile-long trail project in southwestern Pasco County. Work for this project included; Wayfinding package, trailhead landscaping, site furnishing selection, and safety enhancements. In addition, FDC provided engineering design services in collaboration with Coastal Design Consultants.
Trail Information:
The Coastal Anclote Trail is a 12-foot wide, multi-use paved trail that will connect the planned Elfers Spur Trail Extension (Pinellas Trail) in Pinellas County to three parks in southeast Pasco (Anclote River Park, Anclote Gulf Park, and Key Vista Nature Park.) Its total length when completed will be 4.52 miles.

Edwin Rogers P.E. Joins FDC!
Florida Design Consultants, Inc. (FDC) welcomes Edwin J. Rogers, P.E., as Senior Executive Vice President. Mr. Rogers is an accomplished Professional Engineer with extensive knowledge of land development and project management, and joins FDC with over 30 years of experience in the consulting civil engineering industry. Ed will be responsible for overseeing FDC’s Engineering Department as well as developing new business relationships.

Solar Vortex
Florida Design Consultants (FDC) is proud to have been selected for survey services for the Solar Vortex, a family raft water slide featuring America’s first dual tailspin, with high-banking rotations and rapid descents. FDC played a significant role working closely with Adventure Island, White Water, and T&G Constructors providing survey services for foundation piers, bridges, anchor bolts and slide plate connections.
In addition, FDC provided layout of the queue loading area, new VIP cabana area and utility infrastructure, as well as as-built surveys complying with designer requirements. Due to Adventure Island, White Water, T&G Constructors and FDC’s adherence to meeting the construction schedule, this project was completed under budget and ahead of schedule.
