Project Description

DRKCOM Project was developed on the Clearwater Christian College campus located in Clearwater, Florida. The site was approximately 27.3 acres. Florida Design Consultants, Inc. (FDC) was involved with this project from the beginning (Land Planning) to the successful completion (Construction-Phase Services). DRKCOM discharges runoff into a protected portion of Tampa Bay and had several wildlife resources onsite (for example, Bald Eagles). Modifications to the site entrance required coordination with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and City of Clearwater, as the modification affected the Courtney Campbell Causeway (SR 60).

Florida Design Consultants (FDC) was hired by the Pinellas County School Board for this parking lot modification. This project consisted of modifying an existing parking area on campus. The existing area consists of both cracked asphalt and dirt parking. The proposed project provided a 82-space asphalt parking lot and a dry stormwater pond. An ERP was obtained from the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD). FDC performed construction coordination, survey stake-out, and record survey for final certifications. Subcontractor to Ajax Building Corporation

 

FDC provided sub-consulting services to Hoffman Architects, P.A. for Anclote Elementary School located in New Port Richey, Florida. The building addition consisted of approximately 15,000 SF.

The services included survey, civil design, environmental (confirm) and construction observation.

 

 

 

 

Medical Center of Trinity is a five-story, 400,000 SF, 375 bed hospital located on State Road 54 just east of Little Road in Trinity, Florida. The site consists of +55 acres located in the +125 acre Mitchell Ranch Plaza DRI. This project was designed for the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) to replace the existing Community Hospital in New Port Richey.

FDC performed survey, construction stake-out, engineering record surveys, and construction observation services. The civil engineering design services included the mass-grading plan, full civil engineering design and permitting through Pasco County.

 

 

 

The 4-story, 90,000 SF medical office building is located on S.R. 54 just East of Little Road in Pasco County and houses Medical Center of Trinity’s Women Diagnostic Services, physician offices, a pharmacy and an Outpatient Surgery center.

FDC performed the survey, construction stake-out, full civil design, construction observation and landscape architecture services.

 

 

The Allegro is a senior living community located off of East Lake Road. Allegro provides an array of services and amenities which enhance life, provide support, and give residents the freedom to spend more time doing the things they love.

Florida Design Consultants (FDC) was hired by The Allegro at East Lake, LLC to prepare an ALTA/ACSM boundary survey of certain property previously surveyed by FDC in 2005 including mapping of visible perimeter improvements and improvements dictated by ALTA/ACSM. This survey work was performed according to “Freddie Mac” requirements, 2005 ALTA/ACSM requirements, and Florida Laws governing surveying.
